Our Imam

Imam Aqib Choudhury was born and raised in New York City, where he completed his memorization of the Qur’an at a young age. Along with graduating high school and studying in college in New York, he also began his initial Arabic and Islamic Studies there. He then went on to study at the Islamic University of Madinah, Saudi Arabia, from where he obtained a Diploma of Arabic Language and Bachelor’s from the College of Islamic Law and Legal Theory. Afterwards he completed pursuing his Masters from the Global University of Islamic Finance from Malaysia. Previously he served as an Imam, instructor, and youth director at Jamaica Muslim Center, New York.
